8/12/10 - New policy, from now on we race no matter what on points race days, if you happen to be the only guy to show in your class you get 101... may not be as fun or challenging but you showed so you get your points by an official run then play/practice. In the preceding case we give you at least 1 5min qual and a 7min main to make it official or just one qual lap and one main lap works if you dont care about a full qual /main. And on a light day we blow through any racing to make points official then play the rest the day. No more turning a points day in to a play day until we run the races first for who showed. If its a lite turnout and we only run the minimum (1-2 5min qual / 1- 7min main for all) the entry is half price. On a lite turnout we only do fuel 7min mains so there is no need for re-fueling and less time for the one or two corners covering the track. Approaching this all different now.

7/12/10 - As of yesterday 7/11/10 we lowered our entry fees again for our PSFB Series races for last time.

1st class 20.00

2nd class 15.00

3rd class 10.00

2wd Stock SCT is always 10.00

Kids 18 and under - 1st Class 10.00 / Additional classes 5.00

Because of this we will be doing trophies 1st - 3rd for each class this year

6/2/10 - All RAINOUTS ANNOUNCED ON FORUM DAY BEFORE RACE.

5/30/10 - Notice: I have moved both May Sat & Sun starter rainouts to September, so check out the changes on the calendar

If we get any more rainouts we have the last weekend in Sep and the first weekend in Oct for reschedules, but past that, the weather gets pretty iffy.

4/18/10 - 90% complete 1/5 & 1/8 scale Oval.

The track will be packed with 16 ton bibra-roller nextweek

Planted the infield grass.

We still need a drivers stand and to get the fencing installed.

Bob did an amazing proffesional job beyond our expectations. Big props to Big Rock Dozing in Duval.

4/12/10 - For the oval fans out there, we will be blowing out an oval track next weekend also, got dozer coming and will get a great finishing pack with a vibrator roller. This will be a dirt track for the fun corner sliding. Rob Leafdale has the nice painted fencing to go around the whole track, drivers stand will be in soon after.

Its looking like its going to be 160' - 180 outside corner to outside corner and 80'-100' across with 25' lanes.
10-20 deg corner banking.

It should be in and usable by the end of next weekend.

3/23/10 - Thank you Erin for your most appreciated efforts bud
---------------------------------------------------------------

3/23/10 - John McAffee has another computer monitor we will be using as second monitor outside for drivers to view, thanks John !
---------------------------------------------------------------

3/23/10 - Its looking like more electrics are going to be running and I want to point out our track is not set up idealy with ac outlets everywhere but this is something we can improve as we go.
----------------------------------------------------------------

3/23/10 - And if we're going to get in some practice in April, we better get the track done soon, could be done in an 8 hour day with enough help. I think we can go for this Saturday, but I'll confirm that later today.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

3/23/10 - Oval racing is coming to the a52 this year, a 10 driver 1/5 scale group is stepping up to cover costs and help build the track. We will try to build it to a size that the 1/8 & 1/10 oval cars can feel comfortable on meaning it might be a medium size 1/5 track and larger sized 1/8 & 1/10 track. These guys are running at the Skagit cart dirt oval now and desperatly want a more suitable place geared towards RC, and their leaders first choice was specificaly a52.
Rob Leafdale buils these absolutely beautiful scale looking roll cages and body and wings in where the whole assembly mounts to a hpi 5b in minutes.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

3/13/10 - Erin Carroll will have 2 Short Coarse 2WD trucks available to race in this class.

You can purchase the ROAR membership at the track.
